Hey, I’m Jake! I first became a photographer when I was 8 years old and I decided to dress up as one for Halloween. Clearly, I enjoyed snapping photos throughout that night of trick-or-treating, because I decided to pursue my passion for photography and, two decades later, have turned it into my full-time career. I’m a Chicagoan living in LA with a bachelor’s degree in photography from Columbia College Chicago.

I’m a type 1 diabetic that loves to cook and eat great food, with an emphasis on the spicy variety. I enjoy playing basketball, making cocktails, and exploring nature. Dogs are great, but my cats were here first. I have a pistachio tattoo.
